Tom Ratcliffe is an artist and art historian who lives and works in Brighouse, West Yorkshire (UK).

Tom creates artwork in a variety of media including painting,  print and sculpture. He has shown his work widely throughout the UK and has recently become a member of the West Yorkshire Print Workshop, leading to prints being exhibited in Hong Kong, Russia, Scotland and Ireland.

He completed his doctorate in 2010 and lectures on Modernism and Post-Modernism, with a particular interest in abstract painting from the United States and UK and more specifically on the exchange of ideas between New York, Paris and St Ives.
